GUARDAMAR

Guardamar is our nearest town, a former fishing village on the river Segura, with its own port and castle. A busy little town with a lively market, and a night market in the summer. Plenty of bars and eateries, with a sea view.

Further south is Torrevieja, a buzzing town with a funfair by the harbour. Plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and lovely coastal walks.
